Fruit Collections 
The Trust is responsible for maintenance of the
Collections, which form part of the UK National Heritage. Members of the
public
can have limited access to the Collections
in the company of a trained guide during the Trust’s opening times or on
special event
days.
The Collections also serve as a valuable source
of propagation material particularly of older varieties for reintroduction
into
commerce. Nurserymen and commercial organisations
wishing to access material (subject to plant breeder’s rights agreements)
should contact the Trust’s Horticultural Curator.
The Trust also undertakes commercial variety trials.
